My introduction to naturopathic medicine came out of my own search for the root of my illness. As a young, idealistic 20-something, I was living in New York City, enjoying what seemed like a life of endless wonder and possibility. My plans quickly came to a halt as I began struggling with my own digestive issues which were nearly debilitating at times. I went from doctor-to-doctor seeking answers and finding none until I discovered the naturopathic approach to health.
What I stumbled on in my search changed my life dramatically. I was motivated to look closely at those things that were not working in my life and I learned how to care for myself for the first time. I soon realized my own desire to support, help, and inspire others to find wellness.
After going back to school and completing pre-medical studies, I enrolled at the University of Bridgeport and earned my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition.
My life outside of the office is spent teaching courses at Community College of Vermont in Montpelier and having great adventures with my husband and two delightful daughters.
